Mission and history

THRIVE is a non-profit, volunteer, parent-led homeschool learning pod designed to offer an affordable opportunity for families to join together and share talents and resources to assist and support one another in achieving mutual educational and enrichment goals.

Members include families from many Christian denominations and a variety of local churches.  We embrace the Bible as our common authority for faith and conduct.  Although we desire the salvation of all, we are not an evangelistic ministry.  We minister primarily to those who are already part of the Body of Christ.  We endeavor to teach all classes from a conservative Christian perspective, leaving specific doctrinal training to parents and churches.  Parents are required to submit written testimonies of their faith as part of the interview process.  We will only allow membership to families who can honestly and whole heartedly sign our Statement of Faith and agree to uphold the mission, educational vision, and purpose of our co-op.

THRIVE membership currently includes families living in Woodstock, Marietta, Acworth, Canton, Kennesaw, Holly Springs, Jasper, Hickory Flat, Waleska, and other areas nearby.
